Description

The organization, inheritance and function of genetic information are explored from the molecular to the organismic and
population levels. Topics include Mendelian principles, molecular genetics and the techniques used in modern molecular
biology. The laboratory focuses on techniques relevant to molecular genetics. Prerequisite: BIO 100, BIO 250, CHE 114,
MAT 111.
