Description
This course focuses on the elements of the diagnostic process such as administering a differential diagnosis, and the use of DSM-5. Students will be trained on how to administer an intake interview, conduct a mental status exam, as well as gather bio/ psycho/social and mental health history to develop a treatment plan. An additional emphasis will be placed on a wide range of techniques and interventions designed to address a spectrum of mental health concerns. Prerequisites: CON 770, ATH 737 & ATH 782. Fee: $77.00.
