Description
This course provides a broad understanding of the helping process, the therapeutic relationship and the dynamics of change. Includes essential skills and multiple strategies and interventions of helping. The roles of the helper and the client or consultee will be explored as related to foundational counseling and consultation theories and processes, techniques, collaboration, evidence-based practice, self- understanding/awareness, the creative process, and personal growth. Prerequisites: ATH 540, ATH 758. Fee: $50.00.
