Description
This foundation course explores the evolution of the diversity of life and the ecology of living things. Topics include evolution and its mechanisms, energy flow within and between organisms, and the ecological organization of populations, communities, ecosystems, and the biosphere, and how evolution and ecology interact to produce the diversity of life. The laboratory emphasizes experimental design using model and natural systems. Fee: $20.00. Not an appropriate course for non-majors.
