Description
This foundational course explores the organization of living things from the molecular level to the level of the
biosphere. Topics include biological molecules, cell structure and replication, energy flow, genetics and the
ecological relationship of populations. The laboratory emphasizes data collection and analysis using relevant model
systems. Prerequisite: high school biology and math competency. Fee.
