	Description
		
			Limnology is the study of freshwater, especially lakes, rivers, and groundwater. This course will include the study of the
living things found in water, the chemical species, and the physical aspects of those water bodies. It will also explore the
human impact on lakes and rivers and how humans can use them in a sustainable manner. Cross-listed with CHE 217.
