Description
Cell biology is the study of cell structure, function and how life works at the cellular level. The class will cover the
structure and functions of cell membranes and organelles, cellular metabolism, cellular flow of energy and genetic
information, and the regulation of cell growth and cell division. Focus will be placed on the molecular biology of cells.
Prerequisite: BIO 100.
