An individual student enhances the educational experience through placement with a cooperating agency, business, orinstitution that provides work-oriented experience in biology. Internships are individually designed to achieve andintegrate academic and career goals. The nature of the assignment, type of experience, number of credits and evaluationprocedure are to be stipulated in a statement of agreement involving the student, the on-site supervisor, and the MountMary University academic adviser. Permission of department chair and faculty advisor required.
