Description

This course introduces the economic principles behind everyday decisions, from what you buy to how markets function and how government policies affect the economy. You’ll examine how individuals and firms make choices under scarcity, how supply and demand shape markets, and why markets sometimes fail. While mathematical models are introduced to provide context, the focus is on building economic intuition and applying analytical reasoning to real-world problems across disciplines.Prerequisite: MAT 104 or MAT 105.
