This course examines how international trade and policy shape domestic economic outcomes. You will explore why countries trade, who benefits and who may bear costs, and how policy tools like tariffs and trade agreements affect industries and consumers. The course also introduces international finance concepts such as exchange rates and capital flows. Topics are grounded in current events, giving you a practical framework for understanding how global economic forces affect businesses, workers, and policymakers.
