Description

This course explains and discusses the various operational aspects of a complex health system, how these aspects work together to make the system function appropriately, and their interrelationship to each other that top healthcare leaders need to understand to lead it effectively. It teaches the principles, concepts and techniques of operations management in health systems, including facilities, scheduling, inventory, quality control, LEAN Six Sigma, and process improvement. In addition, the course offers a survey of human resource management, organizational behavior, and negotiation.
