Description
The course exploresfinancing and accounting in the US health care system. Regulations and reimbursements, accounting principles, analysis of financial statements, cost analysis, staffing, and budgeting are examined. In addition, various methods of raising capital are considered. Prerequisite: undergraduate coursework in finance.
