Description

This elective rotation course offers dietetics graduate students the opportunity to explore specialized areas of practice within the field of dietetics, including community nutrition, management, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), or other emerging fields of the profession. This rotation allows students to deepen their understanding of dietetics practice, refine their professional skills, and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, while complementing their core dietetics training and offering flexibility to expand their expertise in a focus area of practice. Students will be placed at a rotation site based on their individual interests and preceptor availability. This course provides 120-160 supervised experiential learning hours. Prerequisite: DTS 566 Medical Nutrition Therapy II.
