Description

This course explores teaching English reading and writing as a new language, focusing on instructional models, lesson planning, and materials for language goals, vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and reading comprehension in K-12 content. Emphasis is on fostering independent learning in language-rich environments. Includes 15 hours of fieldwork.
