Description

This course explores sensory integration and its role in healthy early childhood development. Topics include sensory processing, indicators of sensory challenges and overstimulation, reflex maturation, motor proficiency, assessment methods, and developmental profiles. Coursework emphasizes practical skill development through movement, artistic and supportive activities, child observation, and preparation for first-grade readiness, assessment, and evaluation .
