Description
Students in English 110 experiment with new writing techniques and revision strategies to produce carefully polished, college-level writing projects. The course asks students to engage with diverse, contemporary texts, participate in lively class discussions, workshops, and one-on-one conferences with the instructor. With ample practice in drafting, re-drafting, revising, and commenting on the work of others, students will exit the course having sharpened their skills as critical readers, writers, and thinkers, and will have developed basic skills in information literacy. A grade of “C” is required to pass ENG 110. Credits count toward the MMU Core. Formerly SYM 101. Fee: $10.00.
