Description
English 120 offers students the opportunity to compose a critically considered research project in response to a pressing issue, problem, or concern. Through guided practice with quotation, synthesis, critical analysis, the ethical interpretation of information and data, and citation, students will focus on how to effectively structure and disseminate arguments for audiences. Students in this course will finesse their skills in library research and information literacy. A grade of āCā is required to pass ENG 120. Credits count toward the MMU Core. Formerly SYM 102. Prerequisite: Grade of āCā in ENG 110 or ECAT3/DSP3 placement. Fee: $10.00.
