Description
Explores the United States history from the 1877 through 2016. Students trace the political, social, and economic development of the United States from a minor, decentralized, rural nation to one that is considered a global power. The technological and economic evolution raises questions about the consequences on the native population, the people who came to live here, and the treatment of the environment. This course can be taken even if a student has not taken US History I.
