Description
This lab course places emphasis on developing proficiency in assessment, patient care interventions, and the use of medical equipment and technology as it aligns with the didactic portion of the course. The student's knowledge base will continue to grow as students engage in simulated scenarios to enhance their critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and decision-making skills, while reinforcing key QSEN competencies, including patient-centered care, teamwork, safety, and evidence-based practice. This lab experience helps students build confidence and competence in providing safe, effective care in real-world clinical settings. Prerequisite: NUR 350, NUR 350C, NUR 350L; Corequisites: NUR 370, NUR 370C. Fee: $50.00
