Description
This course will explore leadership, management, and organizational theoretical frameworks using critical thinking strategies to study the paired roles of the nursing professional with the healthcare delivery models. Will be a review of techniques by successful managers, outcomes evaluation, quality improvement, and cost-wise decision-making. The student will complete a self-evaluation of their leadership skills and finalize their employment portfolio. Prerequisites: NUR 432, NUR 449, NUR 449C, NUR 449L, NUR 470. Corequisites: NUR 440, NUR 441, NUR 441C.
