Description
This course examines theory and research techniques related to the development of evidence-based nursing practice. The student will learn the skills related to the overview assessment of published research/articles, the research process, ethics, research design, and dissemination. The student will critique research and evidence-based projects and learn to design and implement evidence-based change in the practice setting. The course will culminate with the development of a proposal, written paper, and presentation.
Prerequisites: NUR432, NUR 432C, NUR 449, NUR 449C, NUR 449L. Corequisites: NUR 420, NUR441, NUR 441C.
