Description
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of statistics, while also highlighting its relevancy and value both within and outside of psychological science. Students will gain an understanding of core statistical topics, formulate basic research questions, and collect data from their own lives, as well as multiple areas of behavioral science. Students will also gain proficiency in data analysis and literacy using state-of-the-art statistical tools. Prerequisites: PSY 103, plus any MAT course or placement into math category 013 or above.
