Application of basic psychological theory and research to the explanation of disordered behavior and its modification.
Strong emphasis on developing an awareness of the continuity between “normal” and “abnormal” experience and ways
of living, particularly for students entering one of the helping professions. Prerequisites: PSY 103; PSY 214 or OCT
