Description

This course will explore the work of 20th century monk, Thomas Merton. In addition to learning about the man who became Fr. Louis, we will dive deeply into many of his highly influential—and abundant—writings in the areas of prayer and spirituality, racial justice, war and peacemaking, nonviolence and nuclear abolition, interfaith dialogue, and the responsibility of faithful persons in social criticism.
