Description
Through story, song, movement, and imagery, various cultural frameworks that effect relationships between individuals and groups are explored. Worldviews of diverse populations considered. Creative reflection on personal cultural identity, values, biases and assumptions about human nature. Using the arts as a framework, students begin to develop interpersonal skills needed to work with cultural differences from a social justice lens in various helping professions. Course fee.
