Description
In the second and third semesters, students participate in weekly group supervision, integrating
theory with 20 hours per week of supervised art therapy practicum in an approved treatment site. Students receive site supervision from a registered art therapist or licensed mental health care professional. Students practice applying knowledge of art therapy theory and techniques, assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic intervention and ethical standards.
