Description
This course examines and critiques a range of contemporary counseling theories. An overview of theoretical
approaches to counseling will be presented and applied to the counseling process. Multiple theories will be explored
related to their underlying assumptions, mechanisms for change, research, processes, and potential impact on the
client-counselor relationship.
