Description
An individual student enhances the educational experience through placement with a cooperating agency, business, or
institution that provides work-oriented experience in biology. Internships are individually designed to achieve and
integrate academic and career goals. The nature of the assignment, type of experience, number of credits and evaluation
procedure are to be stipulated in a statement of agreement involving the student, the on-site supervisor, and the Mount
Mary University academic adviser. Permission of department chair and faculty advisor required.
