Description
Leadership requires an understanding of human behavior to understand why people behave as they do in relation to their job, team, and organization. This course challenges students to reflect upon their current leadership capacity as individuals who lead with courage, humility and compassion. The course moves progressively through individual, team, and organizational levels of behavior drawing on concepts and practices from the field of organizational behavior (OB). Students explore intervention strategies and the role of OB in creating the changes that improve leaders, teams, and organizations within a culture of service leadership.
