Description
This course is a continuation of CHE 333. An extension of the chemistry of the remaining aromatic, mono- and poly-functional compounds, bonding, stereochemistry, mechanisms, synthesis, applied spectroscopy, heterocycles and natural products are included. The laboratory includes synthesis, instrumental application, organic qualitative analysis and a student research project. Prerequisite: CHE 333.
