Description
This course investigates the pathophysiology and treatment of diabetes and renal diseases based on evidence in the scientific literature. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of evidence-based practice to medical nutritional therapy in providing ethical and optimal care. . Prerequisite: Pre-req classes required to enter the IMSND program as described in bulletin, RD/RDN status, or approval from instructor.
