Description

Study of strategies for teaching mathematics from a developmental perspective as well as continuing development of mathematics content knowledge; instructional strategies include assessment, questioning techniques, task selection and integrated approaches to instruction; scope and sequence of early childhood, elementary and middle school mathematics curriculum, and state and national standards are included. Prerequisite: MAT 201 and 202 or Post Baccalaureate status; concurrent enrollment in EDU 330P or consent of Department Chair. Fee: $30.00.
