Practicum in Inclusive Strategies (EDU 651)

Description

This 15-week practicum takes place in the students’ own inclusive or self-contained classrooms, where they work with other school professionals as part of an inclusive team. The practicum includes: drafting individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying visual, speech, cognitive or other physical needs; carrying out the IEPs; preparing case studies; and journaling objective outcomes and subjective reflections. Required for Adaptive Education license.
