Description
Course designed to develop students? reading and critical thinking skills and to empower them to engage with readings
across the disciplines. Students learn to be active readers, to build their vocabularies, to apply critical thinking
strategies, and to assess their own and others? work. A variety of individual and group activities encourage active,
multi-modal engagement. Credits count as electives. Formerly SYM 170.
