Description
This course is designed for students who have little or no experience writing creative, original pieces of literature. We will explore multiple genres which may include poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and forms of dramatic writingsuch as plays, screenplays, and graphic novels. Smaller writing exercises will allow students to experiment with a range of creative writing techniques that culminate in larger pieces of writing. Different workshop models will be presented within a critical framework and will provide space for each student to receive a variety of feedback from their peers and professor. No prerequisites required.
