Description
Courses offered here as “studies,” allow students to experience an in-depth look at regional histories outside of the United States and Europe. In these courses, specifically, the student will explore topics in Asian, African, Latin American, or Middle Eastern History in way that combines an exploration of political, social, and cultural history. Students taking 377, will engage with more theoretical frameworks and more original research than in other, broad
topical courses. The course may be offered in a variety of formats.
