Description

Studies the justice systems of other nations and justice as an international matter. Analyzes the historical, political,
social, economic and cultural factors that influence legal trends around the world. Examines effects of increasing
globalization of legal and human rights issues and how they are dealt with. Scrutinizes selected international criminal
justice systems, including the police, courts, and correctional subsystems. Special emphasis is placed upon
geographical, historical, and traditional perspectives that make each system unique and/or similar to the United States.
Note: satisfies the University?s (g) global curriculum requirement.
