Description

Survey of how the justice system responds to abuse (physical, sexual, emotional, and financial) with an emphasis on
abuse perpetrated against children, women, and the elderly. Analyzes specific laws, law enforcement responses, case
prosecution, court experiences, victim advocacy, and corrections. Focuses on survivor-centered policy change and
trauma-informed legal advocacy.
