Description
This course is an introduction to the scientific and theoretical foundations of professional nursing practice. Historical, legal, cultural, economic, and social factors that influence nursing and health care delivery are analyzed. Nursing theory is incorporated with nursing process to provide foundational level of care. Foundational nursing psychomotor skills are developed. Prerequisites: NUR 200 & 260, Co-requisites: NUR 240 & 251.
