Description

In this practicum course the novice nurse apprentice begins to develop and practice the role of the professional nurse. Simulated and actual patient care experiences provide opportunities for the student to demonstrate beginning level competency in clinical reasoning, communication, assessment and technical skills. Prerequisite: Admission to the nursing major: Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment in NUR 320, NUR 321, NUR 322 & NUR 335.
