Description

In this theory course, the student is introduced to three important
dimensions of professional nursing practice and their relationship
to the roles of provider of care, designer/manager of care, and
member of a profession: nursing research and evidence as a basis
for practice, nursing ethics, and nursing informatics. This course
presents the conceptual and technological tools necessary for the
student to become an informed consumer of nursing research,
ethical practitioner, and manager of health information.
Prerequisites: Admission to the nursing major NUR 320. Prerequisite or
concurrent enrollment: NUR 335
