Description

In this practicum course, the intermediate nurse apprentice II offers
continued opportunities for development of self as a nurse and member
of the profession. Simulated and actual patient care experiences provide
opportunities for the student to demonstrate increasing competence in
clinical reasoning, communication, assessment, and technical skills, while
integrating professional values. Emphasis is placed on quality, safe,
patient-centered care, in partnership with the patient and the
interdisciplinary team. Prerequisites: NUR 311, NUR 320, NUR 322,
NUR 331, NUR 335, NUR 350, NUR 351, NUR 354, NUR 355, NUR 357.
Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment: NUR 430, NUR 435.
