Preparation of RN Licensure (NUR 454)

Description

In this course, students are provided opportunities to prepare
thoroughly and systematically for the National Council Licensure
Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Students will
identify knowledge strengths and deficits, and through practice,
drill, and guided review, they will complete an individualized
NCLEX-RN preparation program. Course content will emphasize the
NCLEX-RN Test Plan, application of test taking strategies, and
NCLEX-RN test item formats. Prerequisites: NUR 311, NUR 320, NUR 321,
NUR 322, NUR 331, NUR 332, NUR 335, NUR 350, NUR 351, NUR 352,
NUR 353, NUR 354, NUR 355, NUR 430, NUR 431, NUR 432, NUR 433,
NUR 434, NUR 435. Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment: NUR 450,
NUR 451, NUR 452, NUR 453, NUR 455. (Offered fall and spring semesters).
