Description

Supervised experiential learning, which provides an opportunity for analysis, synthesis, and application of all educational components to the reality of occupational therapy practice. Practice reflections emphasize applying theories of occupation, applying the occupational therapy practice framework, and developing cultural competence. A student is required to complete a minimum of the equivalent of 12 weeks full time. Fieldwork is completed in an
approved setting on a full time or part time basis, but may not be less than half time. Prerequisites: OCT 545, 655. Additional information regarding Level II fieldwork found in Occupational Therapy Program Handbook. Course fee required.
