Description
This course is an introduction to modern dance technique. Students will develop basic technical skills and understand foundational concepts of modern dance through weekly exercises that progress over the semester. Explore the history of the form and learn about important artists who pioneered its development. Through weekly practice learn toidentify standard technical elements, make creative choices and build confidence in movement. No previous dance experience required. May not be repeated for credit.
