Description
An inquiry into the nature of what human beings deem health and illness. Considers both historical and contemporary
philosophies of health including how health is viewed in different cultures, the role of the community in establishing
and interpreting health, health as a commodity, social justice and the distribution of healthcare goods. Prerequisite: SEA 101.
