Ethics, Technology, & Society (PHI 334)

Description
An investigation into the ethical dilemas encountered with technologie, both new and old, and humans. How do we
anticipate whether technolocy will help or harm? What does technology have to do with being human? What about
technology and nature? Should technology be legislated? Topics addressed include artificial intelligence, universal
design, biomedical ethics, economic justice, and environmental ethics. Prerequisite: SEA 101.
