Description
This course examines how structures of identity and division shape our social world. Through the lens of
intersectionality students explore social systems and practices. Themes in the course include analysis of attitudes of
prejudice and structures of discrimination, their causes, maintenance, consequences, and methods for social change.
Current controversial issues related to majority/minority relations are explored.
