Description
This course covers the basics of how to conduct research using quantitative and qualitative approaches. Survey design, interviewing, focus groups, unobtrusive measures, evaluation research and community -ased research is covered. Students work on research projects to develop their skills and ground them in the challenges of performing research that can lead to community improvement. Prerequisites: SOC 101; PSY 310.
