Description

Specialized vocabulary and cultures oriented to the various professions (business; medicine; social services, law
enforcement and education) to allow communication with patients and clients at a basic level. Active participation in
discussion and/or role-playing to develop the skills necessary to function in everyday situations with Spanish-speaking
patients and clients. Prerequisite: SPA 203 or 3 years of high school Spanish. (Nine retroactive credits awarded upon
completion of the course with a final grade of B or better).
